Code Her World is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to encourage girls to pursue a career in computer science and breaking the gender gap in the field. We offer free programming camps that allow students to explore various languages such as Java and Python as well as workshops where students can creatively learn computer science by making chatbots or digital greeting cards. We also have a 1:1 mentorship program that enables students to learn any computer science topic tailored to their needs, whether it’s for school project help or learning a language for the first time. As an organization, we have reached over 600 girls across 10+ countries and have 8 active team members.
