We are a student based nonprofit organization that helps youth of artistic excellence feel seen and appreciated. Especially within architecture and other global forms of art, we want to provide individuals with opportunities to be recognized and awarded for their artistic talents. Additionally, we provide volunteering hours and a safe community to make new friends and seek out new possibilities within the passion of art.
A message from the founder:
Personally, in my school, art is not a priority. There is no award or recognition for this passion. When looking for extracurriculars that can benefit art students for the next steps such as college, there is nothing provided for us. Instead, my school focuses on sports. While this is also important for those looking in a direction of athletics, the artistic community is then left behind, feeling alienated and discouraged from also being represented and appreciated. Even outside of school, looking for architecture youth camps or youth programs was impossible. I was either too old for the ones held by my local college or I had to pay thousands of dollars. But I asked myself, why if I were to be an athlete, this would be so much easier? This is why I, a teenage girl who has dreamed of pursuing architecture and an artistic career since the 5th grade, has decided to make my own nonprofit organization that fixes this solution for everyone globally.
